My old roomate PJ (photo below) sold me my first 35mm camera when we were living on Oahu. These are the first slides I had ever shot. They couldn't run the pipe contest the day I shot because it was too north, but that day my friend Randall Paulson got wave of the year on a second reef bomber at Pipe.
